Quick question for you... I'm using my home computer, and was trying to do a little maintenance on the news manager... I can access the menu list, but whenever I try to make any changes (ie- list all, modify, etc), it sends me back to the login page...

Any thoughts?

Hi,

This is a common occurrence when using a new computer or after updating your browser software. If you are using MS Internet Explorer to browse the Internet, you have to make sure that the browser is set to accept cookies.

For security reasons, the software checks to see that you are logged in every time a new page loads. To do this, the software places a small bit of code--called a cookie--onto your computer to tell the software that you are still logged in. After you log out, or close the browser window the cookie is removed.

To make the necessary adjustments in Internet Explorer please do the following:

Open Internet Explorer
Click on the "Tools" menu
Click on the "Internet Options..." button
Click the "Privacy" tab at the top of the window
Slide the privacy level slider down a notch
Click "Apply" then "Close"

Try logging in again. If you still have problems, you might have to slide the privacy level slider down another notch until the software is allowed to place a cookie on the computer.

The purpose of this slider is to specify the privacy level for the Internet zone. For more information about privacy settings, see Internet Explorer Help.

This should take care of the problem.

Thanks for posting!
